EV Charging for Stadiums, Arenas, and Venues

Venues face concentrated demand in short windows. We design for the surge with load managed banks of chargers, mobile units for peak events, and storage that keeps demand charges under control.

Why it works at stadiums & large venues

  • Handle event surges without upsizing permanent electrical service.
  • Mobile DC fast charging deployed only on event days where you need it.
  • Premium and VIP parking tiers with their own pricing and access rules.
  • Sponsorship and advertising inventory on large charger displays.
  • Crowd safe layouts with bollards, cable management, and clear signage.

What it costs

Permanent Level 2 banks are priced per port like any commercial site. Mobile DC units are deployed per event, which avoids paying for permanent high-power service you use twenty nights a year.

Project timeline

Permanent installations follow the standard eight to sixteen week schedule. Mobile deployments can be arranged event by event with far shorter notice.

Common questions

How do you handle event-day demand spikes?
Load-managed Level 2 banks handle baseline parking, mobile DC units cover peaks, and battery storage shaves the demand charges those surges would otherwise create.
Can we price VIP parking differently?
Yes. Access rules and pricing tiers are configured per stall group, so premium, staff and general parking can each carry their own rates.
Is there sponsorship value?
Large-format charger displays carry advertising and sponsorship inventory, which several venues use to offset the capital cost entirely.

What we typically install

  • QiTrailer 100 / 200 / 400 mobile DC fast charging for peak events
  • QAC2-BC Level 2 banks across general parking
  • Commercial battery storage for peak shaving

Incentives

Venue projects can combine the federal credit with utility demand management programs, especially when battery storage is part of the design.
